We had a brilliant visit to MAMA on Monday May 8. Justine from MAMA showed us around two galleries and then did some studio artwork with us. It was a fantastic visit.
Music for Year 2 boys and some sewing during our art time.
Community Access
Last week we visited Sumsion Gardens in Wodonga. We had a lovely walk around the lake and then a quick play on the playground. It's a great place to visit.
Our term has begun well. Here are a couple of photos of Geordie enjoying the delicious smoothie that was made on Friday and Hamish and Jacob are sharing ANZAC biscuits with the other Aspect children as part of our ANZAC Day assembly.
We got crafty and made some leaves and hungry caterpillars.
A busy end to Term One
The end of last term was very busy. We participated in the St Pat's Athletics Carnival. Well done everyone participated so happily. We also enjoyed the Easter Hat parade with the St Pat's Kinder, Year 1 and Year 2 classes.

Our visit to the Albury Botanical Gardens. Paul is one of the gardeners and he showed us some interesting things from the gardens. He even showed us pictures of some of the amazing animal and plant life on Nail Can Hill. We then had a play in the children's garden. It was a great day. We did an amazing job walking to and from the gardens as it was a humid day and a real test of our stamina! Awesome kids!!!
Look at these awesome boys!

We looked at an artefact from the Wodonga Historical Society.
It's was an old fashioned fridge or it's sometimes called a meat safe! Our icy pole didn't stay frozen for long...just 2 hours!
On Tuesday February 29 it was Shrove Tuesday. We made pancakes. They tasted delicious.
We did some fantastic writing this week (February 16) about 'What makes us happy'.
We had some friends from St Pat's visit us for lunch. We will do this again. It was fun!
Congratulations Lartia. Star of the Week.
